A Ford Escort XZ2 for $100. Needs the water pump replaced but previous owner already has one.

How I figure if its a complete POS and not worth my time I'll either scrap it or trade it to one of my drug dealers for an ounce of regs.

If its the same DOHC engine that was in my previous Escort they are peppy little cars. Unfortunately this one is an automatic and my previous was manual. I may keep it at least for another half year and it'll get me through the winter. Throw some Good year Wranglers on it and it'll become a snow drift hunter! lol!

I know man. Dudes place I mow. He now lives in Wisconsin and is trying to sell his house. His daughter lived there a year or so and her old Escort is still in the driveway.

I got it for $100 bucks and all I gotta do is tow it like five miles home back roads the entire way.

I am always in the market for a car like that haha.. around here if a car has an engine these people think its worth $1000+

Seriously if its just the water pump I'm golden. Throw some new plugs and wires on it, change the fluids and buy a battery and see what happens.
The rocker panels are rusty as hell but practically every Escort from around that time is.

When I crawled under the frame looked ok. The body on the bottom like the picture above looks like crap. Rust and some holes but I'm not looking for a showcar.

I'd the previous owner has it and that's all it needs then why us he selling for $100?

It was a moms secondary car and she never drove it. Now lives 60+ miles away and has been sitting in a previous residence for over a year. Knowing her and the family the money isn't the concern it's just getting rid of the inconvenience of a car needing some TLC.


*At the worse scrap value has to be more than $100 bucks.
