Tired of the carpet getting wet in my Jeep. Thinking about having it Linex'd or Rhinolined but I'm not opposed to DIY if the results are decent.
What do you guys think?

Any idea how much it would cost professionally? Ive seen quotes from like $400-$2k for the full interior.

From what i recall it's significantly cheaper at a shop even with the labor if it's a fairly big job.

Don't, get some nice mats, my interior is rhino lines and I hate it. Unless you are using the truck for only wheeling don't do it

Funny this thread would pop up.

JUST finished up a job for a gentleman, wanted his bike bedlined.

Was skeptical at first, having not sprayed this stuff before, but it was really easy to use, and gave pretty sweet results.

He was real happy; took delivery this afternoon.

I painted this bike with 30 dollars in materials. I used Dupicolor's "Bed Armor" its got Kevlar in it, just make sure you mix it well. It sprays.......meh....

But if you really wanted to, doing it yourself would be WAAAAY cheaper. All they are going to do is Scotch Brite your interior, and spray. Definitely not 1000 dollars worth of labor.

Definitely a big difference.

As always, I vote DIY.

From what I've read a lot of guys throw the carpet back in over the rhino liner (or at least some of the carpet) when they arent wheeling.
I've been running topless 24/7 for a few months so getting rid of the carpet or at least making it a little more optional would be a big help.

What did you use to spray it with? a regular paint gun?

I tested both their spray gun, designed to spray bedliner ($50)

http://www.autobodytoolmart.com/spray-gun-dupli-color-truck-bed-coating-trg-102-p-12725.aspx?gclid=CjwKEAjw0a2eBRDVrabv9vWJ90USJACsKRDH4IivJCSil0YZj78xb36zU3xQHFHeMPxSX8DsASA6hhoC_O7w_wcB

and

the Aerosols.

Both provided the same sprayability, however you would use the materials more efficiently if you bought a gallon, and the spray gun and did it that way.

But as I said, the aerosols provided excellent results as well. Regardless, make sure the materials are REALLY adequately mixed, that's half the battle.

Pieces on the bike were sprayed with both processes. Obviously, you can't tell the difference.
