I recently bought a 98 gmc sierra z71 4x4. well the problem is. I have no break lights. but I do have running lights. or turn single in the passenger side. replaced all new bulbs. and yes I can hear the noise when I press down on the break peddle.
any idea's?

Check all your fuses to make sure none are broken?

does your truck have a pigtail installed for trailer lights? if so unplug it from your wiring and see if you have lights without that pigtail installed. get a test light and test the hot wire for the stop lamps where the pigtail is plugged in. if no power there then you know its back towards the front of the truck just keep running the hot wire down and find where you are losing power.
