I bought my buddies tempo off him today for 40 bucks ( flat of beer ) as he bought something new and just wanted to get rid of it. Being that i spent next to nothing on it i didn't text drive or get any info on it. Any of you guys had luck with these cars?

Seriously the best car I ever owned was a Ford Tempo two door. Well over 200k miles before rear axle went out. In fact the Chevy dealership in town had some rally/fundraiser for the local HS. They drained all the oil from the Tempo's engine and stuck a brick on the gas pedal. Everyone bet like $5.00 on how long the engine would last.
Over 9 minutes it ran bouncing off the rev limiter with no oil.

Ugly ass car but was perfect for me when I moved from Ohio to Arizona.
