So Went to pick up my buddy from the barracks yesterday, and there was an F150 that had apparently caught fire. Melted the glass, melted the intake manifold and all of the accessories off the engine block, melted the wheels and tires, and apparently melted the side of a caddy that was sitting next to it. I only got one pic from my car, but I'll get better ones when I take him back home. Nobody knows what caused the fire.

These had a recall with the cruise control switch, had us replace the harness with a fused one.

This and there was also a leaking master cylinder fire hazard. I think it applied to that year model.

not uncommon on this model of fords.

Why is this not a more known problem? Lol. Still trying to get more details and pics.
