I have 2 potential cars and would like to know what the bottom price i should negotiate for them. one is a 2013 fusion for 28000 and a 2012 charger with 6K on it for 28000... im not paying more than 22000$ could i get it for 22K?

Used car's have lots of room to work with.
go to KBB . com and check out the fair price value of the vehicles and add $500. That should be the bare bottom you should be able to get them for.

The longer a car sits on their lot, the cheaper they will sell it for.

Unless they paid less then 22000 no you can't. Neither of those cars would sit on a lot for forever so they wouldn't drop so much they'd be willing to lose money. Six grand is 21% of the price. You're looking at too much to drop.

Look at the autotrader trade in price. Add and subtract 500 dollars from that and that is the range they paid for it. Aim for around 1-2k above that price. Most dealers go by auto trader value.
