I lost my car keys with the remote lock. I have a spare key but not spare remote lock. its currently still remote locked with the alarm. Is there a way to get in with just the key and be able to turn off the alarm after it goes off?

My car turns the alarm off just by actually unlocking the door with a key. Have you tried yet or are you scared the alarm is going to go off? Lol

Yeah, pop the hood and disconnect the battery.

I know the alarm goes off when i lock it with the button and unlock it with just the key. I just didnt know if the alarm could e stopped.

IS it standard for if this happens and i take the car key and attempt to start the car, would the alarm go off?

Does turning the car on after you unlock the car not disable the alarm? Order a new remote!

If it's anything like the civics you can disarm it on the factory radio there's a button in between the volume and tuner just insert your key and hit the button.

I was unsure if it did or not. But I just finished finals and about to head home for break. So I was going to order a new remote, but wanted to be able to at least get home and not wait

Is it OEM or aftermarket (assuming aftermarket)? What brand is it?
