Okay. So I've had a few reoccuring thoughts about selling my Wrangler (2001 Sport).

The long the the dirty on the jeep is: Wrecked it once, rebuilt it, has it's little quirks, 155,000mi, o2 code thrown.

And I've pretty much fallen in love with this.

I could buy the car now, but I have too many vehicles. One has to go. The Jeep is the most expensive to run, and insurance is killer. While I love it, it just doesn't seem practical right now.

I have a 2006 Nissan Frontier 6 speed that can take over any towing/winter travel. Hell the diesel may even do okay in the snow too.

So what say you?

I could imagine getting parts for that thing would be a nightmare of all nightmares, so I guess as long as it runs good and it really interests you go for it. I think there are better options out there.

I would suggest a sunbeam alpine If you are looking for a car with a style like that though, personally.

MB classic makes ALL parts for ALL cars to this day. And these cars are still being used as Taxis in Europe. 50,000 mi on these is a joke.

I learned to drive on my Dad's 1967 230s, while I LOVE me a sunbeam (tigers make me wet), I want this car for the slow and steady mileage, and the remembrance of my now deceased father.
