Want to drop it a few inches, but have never done it before. What does a shop typically charge for everything to get this done? I know it can take a few hours for someone who has done it before, let alone someone doing it for the first time so I'd rather not try that.

This is something that every shop is going to charge a different price for. In my area there aren't any "custom" shops that do this kind of thing regularly. At best it would be a crap shoot, and I'm close to positive they wouldn't guarantee the work.
You could ask the google if it has any ideas for your area though.

They might make a shackle kit for the rear atleast to make it not a stink but. Ask on tbss.com I think it is.

I see on tbss there are a ton of ppl getting theirs dropped, all different kits available.

Was just wondering what a general cost for this would be.

Figured so, just wasn't sure. Wasn't sure if shops generally did this type of thing, which I'm sure they probably don't.

You can do it professionally and buy the suspension kit or how we do it in Ohio : just cut a coil out of the springs.
