If a pedestrian is crossing the cross walk opposite from you, and you have a green light, when can you turn right?

Always give pedestrians the right of way.

I always stop for pedestrians. Wait until he is on the side walk, I don't know what the law says, but it's the courteous thing to do.

I know what he is asking... when can you actually go.

I believe the law states they cant be in the crosswalk at all... so you are technically supposed to wait until they are back on the curb before you go.

Here in downtown Houston nobody abides by this. It may or may not be the law but I've never seen anyone wait until they have met curb side. That being said I haven't seen anyone get cited for it either, as long as they're not unreasonably close, kind of a judgment thing I guess.

I wait until they are completely out of the way but never really pay attention to whether or not they are on the curb or not. I believe it is a law but not 100%..

You will never get a ticket for waiting on a pedestrian to cross the road.
