I definitely got ripped off, even though the car was originally $800.



So far I have rebuilt the stock nikki carburetor:


Stripped it of the solenoids and emissions, and put mechanical secondaries on it.


Found out that one of the rims this guy sold me was actually 4x100, where the stock rims require a bolt pattern of 4x110.

So got a new set of wheels from a pal for $100, but they needed tuner lugs.
lugs costed $38 from *** and are anodized, which basically meant that the paint chips off upon tightening it.

Ran into this while adjusting the rear tires...

Dropped and cleaned out the fuel tank, put new filters

Sadly when I put it back on, the old gasket was not good anymore and decided to leak when I started to ride home.
Still haven't replaced that but putting a strict $10 per fill rule on my car has been good.



This chick checked into my job with this on her keychain. Jealous.

I'm going to be installing racing beat headers on my friends 84 in the next week or so.

You still got a great deal on that car. LSD and rear discs are way awesome.

as far as I know first generations do not come with a LSD, they come with live axles.

If the car peels out on the drivers side only, it's a live axle.
but yeah, rear discs are definitely awesome. if I had a drum I'd switch to the FC3S 5 lug ASAP. Even though this car does not need it.

Ah I missed the fact that this car has the carbed 12a in it. Yep. LSDs came on the fuel injected GSLs I think.

Awesome project. What're your plans?

Currently have polyurethane bushings to put in, looking for a new differential because my axle is bent causing one of the calipers to knock around. (just hunting for a cheap used one atm)

My shocks are probably out, going to replace those... but first

looking for that holley intake manifold on the low low, while slapping on an edelbrock thunder series
