I have a 2000 accord that needs to get smogged. I gotta put the stock headers back on because the great state of California sucks large dick but I don't have the gasket that matches where the header/downpipe connect. Its a 3 bolt:

Would it be okay if I ran it without the gasket for ~150 miles (to reset the ECU) and be able to pass smog?

yeah, two years ago I actually did that to clear the ECU's setting for my aftermarket pipes, drove to the smog station and he said I failed because the ECU needs 100-150 miles to properly reconfigure air/fuel ratio, ect so its "smoggable"

thanks

check the gasket for a 08+ cobalt ss its looks to be about the same size and they are also a 3 bolt, or there is always the option of buying a make ur own gasket set and cut it to what you need ive done that before in the past

So far so good. Ran it for 30 miles and had a buddy throttle it, no leaks as far as I can tell.

I'll probably end up picking up some of that universal stuff and cut out my own when I put the pipes back on. What's a good brand?
