I need to get some new ones, however I am looking on line and don't know what I'm looking at... I see "oem" disks for $89 for a pair, but then I see others for $389?? Anyone care to help give me any reliable brands or suggestions?

And what's the difference between say, cardone friction choice or bolt on ready?

there are ones that are solid and ones that are cross drilled. thats your big difference in price. i would match whatever you have on it now.

on your brake pads there are numerous materials used to make them and they all have specific claims (best braking performance, quietest, durability, etc). just because they are expensive dont mean they work the best though. some might produce more brake dust than others and make your wheels black pretty quick.

Thanks! I have the plain ones right now as it appears, however I think the perforated ones look rather sharp. Is it bad to switch over?

if you want to upgrade go with the cross drilled. as always they are going to cost more though. and no its not bad to switch them.
