Car starts chugging/jerking when I try to accelerate faster say over 70-80 km/h

The guys at the shop told me they hooked up the code reader to the car to see what it was, they said its saying its the 02 sensors.
What are the chances these would both fail at the same time?
What else could it be? bad plug wires or something?

Iso some help cause the sensors are gonna caust like 350 plus dollars

Car is an 04 civic si

How many miles on it? Does it accelerate shitty all the time? Could be a clogged cat causing that shit.

around 170K km so almost 106k miles

And if im just driving around town going under 60 km/h the car is fine its when I push the gas down further to merge on the highway etc is when it starts chugging like its not getting enough gas or something

02 sensors seem very likely, they do usually last only about 80-100k miles.. my previous car had the main 02 start to go out, on way to work it started to hesitate/jerky, car almost died idling at a light. brought it back home, took another car to work, picked up a new 02 after work, came home and fixed it..car felt awesome again.
