Alright, so I just got Stage 2 tuned. Cobb Catted DP, Cobb Catless UP, and an OBX Catback which I think is the culprit to my drone issues. The cans that came with the exhaust are 4'' tips, with literally nothing in them. It's a hollow shell.

Would you guys recommend me to have my exhaust guy weld a resonator in? Or just replace the cans with actual mufflers.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, it is. I cheaped out on it when I first got the car, now that it's paid off and I have some real cash to throw at it, I'm regretting not getting a quality one.

Any and all exhausts, especially straight through aftermarket exhaust, can drone.

It is partially, and majorly in my opinion, dependant on how the exhaust is mounted to the car. Do all your mounts have insulators? How close does the exhaust come to the body/floor?

It's the same thing with fuel pumps. Dampening and insulation are key to not having a headache.

Yeah, because the exhaust is the starting point to any car build. Shouldn't you know that?
