Bought it brand new with 1 mile on it. Runs pretty good, but it's top heavy. Gonna get to removing all the stock bull shit on it like the bars, exhaust etc. But so far i like it, much better than my old xr. Broke it in as soon as i got it, changed oils earlier today at 50 miles, and now i have 160 miles.

If you are street riding it a lot get a chain and sprockets soon. Your engine will thank you. These things are tanks.

You have 1 chance to take it apart and grease it properly while it is new. I suggest you do it. Its good preventative maintenance. The factory greasing is anemic.

i did do a lot of high speed riding today, just not on the highway. Bike can go up 80+ mph if the wind will let you haha. But im not gonna do much highway riding at all, gonna be more ride to trails/hollister hills bike.

E: So grease the wheel bearings, and steering head bearings?

Yes. The swing arm pivot and shock linkage too. Make sure its waterproof grease. I like bel-ray. http://www.belray.com/bel-ray-waterproof-grease

Check the axles too. They are the only thing the shop has to lube upon assembly. You dont want them too dry. A high temp Moly based anti seize is good and it only takes a thin coat. I usually strip the chain of its oem wax and lube it with my go to Maxima Crystal Clear.
