Looking at getting a new mustang 2011 or newer because that was the year the HP increased significantly. I am contemplating the v6 (305hp) versus the GT (420hp). Just wanted to know if anyone has either and how satisfied you are with it.

For what a used gt goes for you would be derping real hard if you bought a v6.

I guess I should have clarified im looking at a lightly used v6 vs a lightly used Gt, probably about 7-8k difference in price roughly

2011 gt and I like it a lot. 29k miles no issues. Though I've only had it for almost 2k

2011-2012 are the ones who had issues with #8 popping. Wouldn't get one without warranty. The MT-82 is kind of notorious for problems as well, especially if you can't properly drive manual or up the power.

Just a few things to think about before you buy and if you plan on modding.
