I was driving it on the highway on cruise control then out of no where it rev'd up real high for a quick second then i lost all acceleration. I had to pull over on the side of the road and no matter what gear I put it in it would just rev up. Also, If i let the car sit for 10 minutes then start it up and put it in drive it will move forward like 5-10 feet or so then just start revving if im still on the gas. Any one know what this is? All I found on google was a wave plate problem.

Sounds like your throttle cable is messed up some how. Not a great idea to drive it if your throttle is sticking. Start troubleshooting or get it towed to a mechanic worst case.

Well got it towed to my uncles house I was 7 hours away from home when this happened. And this was last week. I just now had the time to bring it back yesterday so I need to start diagnosing it.

Depending on how hard it is to get to the valve body, no. Solenoids are essentially plug and play, remove the fucked ones and replace with new ones. Check each one with a voltmeter for proper resistance, if no good, replace. Buy some used ones from a junkyard.

Also check the top electrical connector on your transmission, it's usually held on by a bolt, should be a weathproof connector but...lol. Seems strange that 3 solenoids would be faulty, might be a bad connection up top. Remove the connector and inspect for burnt pins or debris, hit it with some electronics cleaner.

Alright thanks. Will go out and check it out before I head to work see if I can get some work done to it.
