I work as a financial advisor for an automotive company and this person was approved for a $200 18 month lease

I'm asking you if you would approve or decline

I'm asking this question because a lot of these people with bad credit scores, bank statements with lots of withdrawals to casinos and bars, and down payments of 2,000 or 1,000 end up missing payments and having their car repossessed

Isn't it irresponsible to approve people who have a bad history? I thought a 600 credit score was bad but some of these people who come in have a 400 credit score and get approved with a big enough down payment

I just bought a brand new 13' 4D VW GTI fully loaded MSRP $31,860 with a 660 CS, 1k down, and got approved for 4.99% APR. (Not best but pretty good)

then again ive never missed a single bill payment on my credit cards/past car etc. /shrug

700 Fico is pretty much the hump when you go from having ok credit to good credit. That is a fair APR given your CS though for sure.
