Further proof that the best engineers belonged to the greatest generation. They had an ability to visualize complex mechanical devices that is lost thanks to computers. I've seen some engineering sketches from the 50's and 60's my grandfather had and they put a CAD drawing to shame.

This invention is a good example. It solved a problem and appears simple at first but I bet it is fairly complex. Was it successful? No, but someone wasn't afraid to try it.

That's so awesome. I think they could do something really cool with it. Amazing they did that on a car so heavy.

Had a truck block me in, I removed his drive shafts, pushed his truck back, and used the drive shafts to block the tires

LOL....


My buddy used to squeeze his way into spots with his turbo diesel F250.. He would roll up and if the bumpers matched he would just push them out of the way haha
