ok so i have a 2006 Honda Accord v6
something is wrong with my car i am thinking it might be something with car thief security but this is what is happening when i hit my remote key to open my car i can hear it open but it auto lock it self right away and i cant get the door to open if i manage to get in the car which i die i can start it and drive it but then i will be lock in the car cause it wont let me open the car from the inside maybe is just the cold? this happen before but it suddenly just solve itself any help?

Could be a short in your power locks.

This, if you have a remote starter they are notoriously bad for wearing it out and once they do they can cause all sorts of problems.

i do not have a remote starter just a remote key to unlock and lock and what do you mean by a short in the power locks

Same difference really. Just take it to your dealership honestly, they will be able to figure it out.

Not what I was talking about but could be it too.


I think he mentioned that even without the keyfob, it still does it. Which tells me that its probably a short in the actual power lock switch itself, so it keeps telling itself to lock, lock, lock, over and over.

Might be, not sure but this is definitely not a do it yourself kind of job anyways if it is a short in the locks.

Changing out the switch is cake work...

Or he could just disconnect the switch and use manual locks.
