Ford Focus ST.

Not sure if anyone owns one or anything just curious what everyone thinks of them etc.

Don't care of them being FWD so that isnt a part of the opinions. Not everyone needs/wants RWD/AWD etc

Was curious because of his statement "Not everyone needs/wants RWD/AWD etc"

Because IMO, if its a DD you're looking for, AWD is probably the best way to go if you're looking for an all season DD.

FWD is plenty in the winter, and generally cheaper and easier to get.

Well i live in las vegas..so yeah lol.

i test drove one other day and it was pretty nice/fun..im usually a euro guy but the ST is pretty damn nice.. may get one in a few months.

And id roll full stage 3 performance package by cobb..which has been dyno proven by many to yield 255-260 whp and 365-370 Wtq..which is insane and i think id be plenty happy with.

just seeing what everyone else thinks.

Plenty but where I live we get a lot of snow and ice, and I'd prefer better control over my vehicle.

AWD uses more gas, goes through tires twice as fast. FWD works perfectly fine in snow if you know how to drive.

I would go with something else over the focus ST, I like the GTI's more. But if you are getting it for performance. Trust me when I say high power FWD is more of a headache then you may realize. Making close to 300 whp in a fwd car will result in no traction. You can get plenty of decent low mileage rwd sports cars for the focus price. ANd have more performance options. Make 300 rwhp in a stock car instead of buying a new focus. dropping 2-3k into it to make stock rwd sports car performance, and not be able to use most of the power.

Dis lol. If you want a car with power then buy one to begin with and skip dropping tons of money to gain any power.
