I want something fun and quick for summer/spirited driving. I stumbled across this and I'm pretty interested. Just curious as to peoples opinions on it. The price seems pretty good and he's desperate to sell.

Well if he's losing the house or whatevrr ...he could also lose the car or any number of situations

As far as reliability/problems what should I look for. I have no experience with older cars at all.

If it's a 5.0 go for it. Just don't put to much hp through it of you will crack the block. It's somtbing around 500 iirc

5.0 with ~85k miles (for your americans) with clean carproof. my main concern would be rust especially since it was just painted (could be a cover up)

I would obviously never be paying someone's asking price so that really isn't the issue

Take a magnet to the fenders and rockers...
Ive also never herd of someone simply covering up rust,
It was probably treated, touched up what ever and painted
So its probably good for A few more years

Fenders don't really matter. The aftermarket on these is crazy huge, you can get new fenders for about 80$ a pop. Fenders hood doors all very cheap, and easily available in fiberglass too.
