Car was acting wierd, wouldnt take off properly, etc
I say i drove easily 2 hour and all the sudden my 'check charge sys' light comes on.
Ok, wtf?
Open trunk and check battery terminals ( yes battery in trunk ) all looks good

Now im thinking my alt took a shit
Nope, blew a belt.
So wierd from what im used to haha, all 3 other times i blew a belt on past vehicles i knew within a minute.
My waterpump is ran on a secondary chain too btw

I would have to remove a motor mount to swap belts too...

no u dont lol thats doing it the hard way

just take the passenger side wheel off use a 3/8 ratchet set to take bolts off on the spot in the tensioner take the belt off. oh and remove the splash guard from the wheel well

with just using a random pry bar i had kickin around, removing the motor mount was the only way to get any leverage on it
only took me 5 minutes to remove & install the mount, 5 easy acess bolts

i did it this way when i took my head off, and this is by far the long and stupid way. the tensioner is spring loaded.. no need to loosen the bolt.
pry bar, and lift, slip belt on/off


/air box already has to come off to fit your hands in there . much easier to remove 5 easy acess bolts ( motor mount ) VS the 4 ( or 5 ) lugs for the wheel, IIRC 4-5 stupid clips and 2-3 bolts that holds in inner fender on THEN get a socket on the tensioner bolt.
