So I've been chatting around with the guys over at crownvic.net, and after much planning my Town car now has new plans. Some may call it crazy, I call it unique. Guess we'll find out.

Original goal was minor mods, and crossing my fingers for 400 whp. Heres where I'm going with it now.

My budget: 10 grand. Let's see how far over that I end up haha.


Modmaxraacing.com's road warrior 1000 hp capable short block. Decided to stay cast iron here for budget and durability reasons.

Manley 2v pistons, Thinking about 10cc dished to keep the compression under 10:1

Manley forged 4340 H-bean connecting rods

Forged 4340 8 bolt crank

Plasma moly rings

High performance king rod and main bearings

Trick flow twisted wedge 185 aluminum heads, 1.84 intake, 1.45 exhaust, 38 cc combustion volume

Comp Cams Ford 4.6/5.4 SOHC Xtreme Energy XE278AH Cams possibly? Still deciging on cams.

4.6L PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT (PI) INTAKE MANIFOLD

80mm throttle body

Melling 2V & 4V Oil Pump High Volume

ADTR's Centrifugal supercharger system for Panther platforms, have not decided what pulleys I'm running, or what boost I'm going for yet

Kooks longtube headers, likely going for a full 3" exhaust

Obviously built T56 6 speed

31 spline axles with trac-lok, probably 373 gears

Metco Billet Watts Link, with ARP hardened stud

KYB Gas-a-justs all around

Metco Billet Upper and Lower Control Arms

Reprogram rear suspension, and run hd police springs up front

Addco front and rear sway bars

Still working some details, started ordering some parts. Project will really take off after I get back from this deployment (Likely April). Will keep updated as things progress.

New end goal: At least 750 WHP and tq. Going to go for the fasted panther record, which is currently high 9's and he's running an LSX in a p71 vic.

Besides I've had damn near everything. Time to mod something different. Think about it. Ford V8, RWD, Full frame. Things a Mustang on Steroids. Except my kid actually fits in the back of this one <.<

Right lol. It's hard fitting the kids in my camaro. The Vic sounds like it's going to be bad ass lol . Awesome sleeper lol

It's a towncar, not a vic lol. I actually have MORE back seat room. Same platform obviously, but the towncar is actually extended 3 inches over the crown vic in the rear seat area.

But it's going to be insane when I'm done. I wont stop until Im at least in the low 9's, possibly faster. Want to do the whole thing streetable.
