I drive a bmw335i 2007, manual transmission. I'm thinking about getting an aftermarket once since I have to replace it. Anyone have experience with bmws or can recommend which I get

If you make stock power get a stock or stock equivalent clutch. You don't need anything more and your leg will thank you.

a mechanic and some buddies of mine recommended i get a stage 1 clutch since its only a little bit more and the installation will be the same.

82k miles

Stage 1 is generally an oem equivalent clutch.

Agreed.
Ive got a bit more mileage on my mustang and Im not particularly gentle with it either. The clutch on it feels fine and its a bit over stock HP
My dads truck (89ish chevy) had like 200k+ before he replaced his.
