Hey guys, :)

I'm looking for people who have experience with a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo.
I'm currently thinking about getting a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IV (1996) for €7000.

It's imported from Japan and completely checked by a tuning garage in the Netherlands.

It looks absolutely amazing, but I want to hear some opinions on these cars.

How do they drive, are they reliable etc.etc.?

Is it better to go with another model? If so, which model would be best?
Budget is about €8000-€10000 max.

Lemme know! B)

Ride686 and Timasse are the only 2 i can think of offhand that have, or have owned a Evo.

As a daily driver I'm not sure how they perform.

For a car to tune, people generally say the cost out weighs the return. <- Matter of opinion.

Parts and labor are expensive on it.

But just like any other car, if you buy it in good working order and do routine maintenance I'm sure it could last you a long time.

I don't think anyone here has had any experience with that gen. Regardless, if you want it be sure you have a relatively large safety net for when something goes wrong.

We have a guy that comes out to track days in his IV, don't really know him or the car too well but it always looks like he has loads of fun. Especially on the rainier days.

/e ...or maybe it was a III...
