Do block heaters help cars with carburetors? I feel like I waste a lot of gas while warming my truck up with the manual choke.

Your going to drink 2 gallons either way starting it up in -30 weather

Block heater just gives you the crutchs for a easier start keeping that oil thinner

So unless your having troubles getting it started, or even turning over, i wouldnt bother. Just me tho, block heaters are for women and diesels
