Why do american car companies insist on trying to make popular cars look all European. if we wanted an import, we'd buy an import. The sad thing is its supposed to be pretty damn quick, right?

The front is too blunt and the rake is too small. It almost resembles a new camaro. I'll wait till I see some better shots but yeah it doesn't seem overly attractive.



It should be yeah. It might be the first Mustang that doesn't feel like a boat to drive in a long time.

It's the progression of styling. Look at the uproar we saw over the C6 corvette with fixed headlights. Now a base C6 looks plain as hell. They don't make the big design changes for right now, it's for 5 years from now mid model run. GM made the 14' update on the Camaro to ease the transition into the 6th gen so it won't be as dramatic.

Taking a good look at it I understand why it ended up looking like it does. They say the wheelbase is the same, but they cut 200lbs. A lot can be cut by the engineering department with lighter materials etc etc. They can never cut as much as the design department can. If the wheelbase is the same, the car looks quite a bit shorter. The front overhang is minimal, hence the BRZness. It looks a bit RC car like. I bet it will look a lot better with different wheels and the 4x4 stance removed. For the most part I like the back end. The front looks neutered and the side view is
