Serious question?

Some newer cars, the crank doesnt dip into the oil. But older vehicles do. Slow lazy starter trying to turn a freezing motor over is hard enough, but make it push all that through thick cold oil and it doesnt hold up.

Use a thinner oil, should help lol or use new starter

I would also assume your battery is on its way out, or the alternator. One of them isnt supplying power needed

My old ladys pathfinder barely turns over in the mornings and its only -10 at most. Cant wait till -30 or 40

I havent tested but i assume this junk yard alternator i bought is junk lol ( battery is less than a year old soo.. )

Like really slow turn lol, im almost considering plugging it in already and i can still work outside in a long sleeve shirt lol. We get dem srs cold canadian winters up here

But i see what you mean . the starter works fine when its warmer out, but as soon as its cold it makes the tall tale signs the starters shot. But works fine 4 hours later in the warm

Heh. Hope its not in a stupid spot for your sakr and comes out easily

Even go through the wires man before you go rip it out

Almost all metals do the same thing when cold, you might be losing a connection
