So I am selling a junk car but I've never sold a car in my life so I don't know how everything works.
The junk car place I called said they do a free title exchange. What all am I suppose to do?

i remember when i was in this boat.

I asked my parents, becuase they know my provincial laws. Or your parents know your state laws ( if american )
so probably a good idea to ask them, google it, or let us know where you live. things are different in different places

But here in canada if your selling a vehicle

All you need is, remove your plates, cancel insirance, sign the ownerships over, 2 copies of the bill of sale. Both copies signed by both parties and dated. Also a really really good idea to put " as is where is "

But thats us

Okay, thank you! I live in the US, specifically Texas, so I don't know how different it is, I'll ask my dad.

ehh in ohio i just go to my bank get the title notarized that i signed the back that i am selling the car. Also if youre under 18 you will need to have a paper signed by ur parents allowing you to sell the car even tho it is in ur name. Umm also the person buying it will need to sign the back of the title. but if you require a notary they can normally walk you through the process. that or talk to the people at the junkyard and be straight up, they should understand.

Lol it's really not hard hahaha

The shit that's a given should already be done (remove insurance ect)

Fallow the instructions on the fucking title.... It's no hard fill u part out, keep the release part u give to dmv and give them the rest let then sight/fill out their part.

Takes no more then 5 min including walking out of the house to get the mileage
