bought 4 used tires on rims for 300$ witch where from a ford fusion so it was direct bolt on to my car.
put in new brake pads/rotors up front was hell on earth, everything is seized on that fucking car, the slider pin design is the stupidest ever, the lower pin doesn't even come off ( i guess it does when its brand new out of the box)
had to heat it and sledge hammer it back in so i could fit the new pads, wat a pos. the rotors where also all fucked up, had to hammer them like crazy and had to drill out 1 of the screws holding the driver side.
worst part of all this is those component had been on the car for no longer then 1.5 years, i had the front calipers changed cuz they had seized, no shit.
then my buddy's father wanted us to do his front brakes on his 08 ranger so we like yea that will be quick....
fml we didn't even do 1 side the lower pin on his was also seized his pads where wearing uneven and when we came to swap the disk we realized we didn't have new wheel bearings to put in and pressing the old ones out would have high chances of fucking up the seal, so we called it a day.
shitty day in the garage but im happy i have tires and brakes for winter!
