I was sitting in my 99 dodge ram with the heater on for about 10 minutes and it just completely stopped all of a sudden
up till then the heater/ac has always been great, now it doesnt blow any air at all

the fuse is good, and I just bought a new blower motor thinking it was that and no change

what could be the issue? I know these trucks are notorious for heater core problems from what ive heard, but my heat was working great then it just stopped completely?
any help would be appreciated :( ...its cold

Electrical problem, probably from the variable resistor at the knob.

/e if the blower motor doesn't turn at all.

You'd need to replace the blower motor resistor itself, it's mounted near the blower motor on the 3rd gen (2002 - 2008) rams so I'd check there first. Otherwise you might need a service manual to actually check where it is.

This is the route i was going. Usually they will just be off or on hurricane mode. Never seen one just completely up and shit out.

Ya, heat working competely fine, no signs of nothing then it stops working entirely -_-
I look into the resistor thing, and post back with what I find, thx

it's worth a shot. IIRC they are like 12-15 bucks. not an uncommon thing for those years.
