seriously looking into buying this. it sounds worth it to me for a winter plow truck but i havent researched a whole lot into any. do you think $1900 is good price based on the description below? some pics were posted. its not super clean. underneath looked clean. no holes. little bit of surface rust on floor boards. rust on lower part of both doors, rotted through, but the rockers looked clean. paint job was shit but cosmetics arent my concern. was thinking could even pull the motor if solid and build a 383 stroker or something. advice is much appreciated

that's a good price for a solid truck..... they're starting to get really popular so prices are on the rise.... if it's just a plow truck there is no need to swap in a 383. like mentioned also 3/4-1ton kinda better for plowing but, that would still work ok for you I'm sure

thank you. i talked to the owner and he said i can come by on sunday for a test drive. if all checks out i will probably buy it. i wasnt really looking for a plow truck but since this was posted it kind of gave me the idea. otherwise i was going to try to sell or scrap the plow. i was actually going to take the 305 out of my camaro and put a 383 in it over the winter so i figured i could just swap the motors on them and have both. idk how well that will work though but i might try it.

Ive seen lots of early 80s ones in the 8k-10k+ range when in pristine condition. Id buy it if it didnt need too much work
