2004 GMC Canyon 2wd 5sp manual ext cab

Last few days every time I start my truck in the mourning and try to put it in first gear it doesn't want to go, it almost feels like my e-brake is still on but if i give it a little more revs it kinda breaks loose and goes into gear.

Usually once the car has been running for 2-3 minutes and I've stopped/started a couple times this stops.

Is it my ebrake sticking or is something fucked with my clutch/trans?

Could be a clutch or trans issue. Either your clutch isnt disengaging all the way or your trans isnt allow it to go into gear.

How many miles are on the truck? Im assuming it has the original clutch?

Have you ever changed the trans fluid?

Did this start all the sudden or has be gotten worse over time?

Are there any issues changing to other gears while driving?

Only first gear, truck has 115 000kms and I bought it at 95 000kms, and I haven't changed the fluid since I've had it.

Just started all of a sudden, it feels like something is like holding onto my back wheels and the clutch engages fairly hard but it only does it after sitting for a while.

It's weird.

Hmm might be your brakes hanging up or a wheel bearing going out thats pretty odd though.

I would let it sit overnight like usual and then put it in neutral and take the parking brake off then try to roll it. See if anything is physically hanging up.
