So i made a stop at an yellow light a little strong and when the car came to a stop, a second or so later, the car's revs dropped super low to like 400 and tried to bounce back to it's regular 900-1000 but just shut off on me and blew some white smoke.

I started it back up and it drove like normal. Now every once in a while the revs will drop and it feels like it wants to do the same thing again.


The engine feels fine, could it be something else?

A/F might be off. Ive had my intake come loose and the same problem would happen.

Faulty vaccum lines do funny things

this. one of the more common is the vacuum line to the brake booster but it could be any of them. i had the brake booster line cut almost in half and it was making my car have a slight backfire sound while idling. would run fine driving down the road though
