Ok so I have an opportunity to buy a 240sx. The car has motor and tranny pulled, blown motor. And clean title looks as no rust, won't know till I inspect it. No dents or anything. Wants 400. Oh and it's a 1990 with 160k. Comes witha free engine stand lol.

id personally pass, unless you have the time and finances to tinker with this.

i know i could flip it easy if i dropped another ka24 in it, but theyre so old, and i dont want a headache. so i might pass, although i want a new car. so ive been wanting a rwd, dont want mustang or camaro, id rather have a v6 rwd. i wanted a 300zx but i hear theyre unreliable especially tt cause theyre expensive. i was thnking getting a sr20 240, or even keep the ka24. maybe a g35 or 350z but theyre slow for what they are, plus might be expensive to maintain? i dont know. was thinking miata but i really hate ford, and theyre ford cars right? plus the miata is a bit smaller than i like, my friends dad almost died in one cause he got hit by a semi. But i mean idk, just looking around.

If the body is as clean as you say it is I dont see why not.

honestly if i bought this, it wouldnt be my dd it would become a project or a flip, but idk if its worth it, idc bout paint, thats silly stuff. also rocker is rusted, but my dad is a very good welder.

Nothing too special about the car though, no half clear turn signals, no kouki tails, no DCC

pass. even if you find a ka24 for a few hundred, get it painted... The car is only gonna sell for 1000-1500.

My buddy got 2700 for his coupe, maybe because it was a coupe as opposed to the liftback...that car was beat to shit, someone drove pretty far to get it too...

Ok so a lot of people here have their share of 240s. Should I buy one? A newer one like 95? And sell my prelude?
