a ford motor is your best bet you could get a carb'd 302 which would be the easiest to run on the stand. but yes with a fuel injected motor you will need all engine related wiring and computer(s)
you don't technically need a radiator to run it on the stand but you won't want to run it for very long at all without one so....
Radiator + fan is important.
Carbd engines are like 3 wires to run so it's very easy.
a 4.0 ford v6 swap is common in that truck though I think so you might want to look there first
I don't want to do something common. But thanks for the input. I might just put a turbo on here with stronger parts ex steel forged piston
