I need a new power steering pump and a new belt for a 98 dodge neon...

Any idea what i'm looking at spending?
Should I just go to an auto shop or will I need to get a special order?

its a 98 neon...go to autozone...get the cheapest they have...put it on.

Well I'm not a car expert, I just was wondering what i was looking to spend and if i need to special order it

nah its a common part.

you can youtube how to do it yourself if you want...i wouldnt pay for labor on a 98 neon lol.

from one i seen on oreillys it was 72 for a reman pump. thats probably gonna depend on your trim level though. that was a neon "sport" so you would just need to make sure on your trim and motor.

Try rockauto or partstrain. They can usually beat the price of the local stores (shipping included) for common parts like these.
