I will be purchasing one here in California in the next 1-2 months(maybe longer) depending how long it takes to find one that I like.

Around my area, the price ranges from 14-20k depending on the mods, miles etc...


I've done some research, but I would like some feedback from people who have owned or own a LS2 vehicle.

I had a deposit on one 2 years ago lol. 24k miles, $16500. Dealer sold it out from under me.

You don't really have much to worry about with them. If you like how they drive you'll like the car. The drive could be much more refined, but the drivetrain is wicked.

Nice @ 24k. I found one that had 10k miles, but the man wanted 25k. Unfortunately, he didn't want to lower the price and it was auto.


I'll keep searching. I'm looking for one with 60k or less miles with little to no bolt ons.

Honestly, I thought all bolt on mods were illegal in cali and it'd fail inspection if anything isn't stock?

You're right, but it doesn't stop everybody. You can pay your way through emissions test or switch the parts to stock for the smog test

The rear differential is made of glass and they have bad wheel hop stock. Other than that you are golden.
