scrapped the project, needed to much work and not enough time, needed something driveable

pulled the motor, the axles, the tranny/t-case to part out, front axle sold the day I posted it



so this is what I ended up with for $1200



and this is what I am keeping for it

nah this will be better .. way better aftermarket support also

get rid of that 60, get a 14 bolt, parts are easier to find used and cheaper

u can find 14bolt 3rd members with gear and arb for dirt cheap

Your in california I'm in Atlantic Canada, this is ford country. I look on kijiji daily for fun and I've never even seen a 14 bolt for sale. I've called every junkyard within 2 hours from here and they dont even have 1 ton anything, it's bullshit. They All laughed when I asked "haha no we haven't had anything that old here in years"

Yeah. I'm sure it is common in CA to see old vehicles on the road still in great condition, here most vehicles pre 1990 are a pile of rust. Hell even some 2000's I seen are rotted to hell.

To save some headaches I might come to the states to pick up a ZJ already built, I seen a few for 5-8k already on tons with 37's , lockers exo cages etc etc. I'd spend 5k on the tires wheels axles alone easy to build myself.

But then again I wouldn't be able to say I built it, an I'd miss out on the experience. But would save a ton of money and time. Then modify it to how I want from there.
