I've been looking for a while at the Wrangler Unlimiteds while I save up a bit of money. I need a 4x4 for living up here in the mountains for several reasons, plus Id love to find some trails.
What would you guys consider other than a 4dr Wrangler? Anyone know of any big negatives with them? I havent even sat in one before but I plan on test driving one pretty soon (was going to today but the dealership is closed).

Im looking for used ones currently as I really want to stay well under $20k but I could spend more if I felt like it.

I pretty much want this:

bronco 2

if it has 4 doors its not a real jeep imo

if it has doors at all its not a real jeep imo

Look on jeep forum and pirate4x4 there are built ones for less, lockers bead locks tires long arms kits etc

I went through the first 10 pages on the p4x4 sale section and only saw 1 4dr JK and it was over $50k (5.7 HEMI conversion and fully build).
Ill keep an eye out though.

You could look at an FJ



Keep in mind with a DD that big tires like that are detrimental to fuel economy.

those are small tires

but yea fj's are cool, and aren't a million of them everywhere you look like jeeps/f150s
