Pretty cool for something built from the the headlight motors.
And before anyone makes fun of the wing, its a 525 HP LS3 Miata...

And on a side note, this is a (stock?) ls3 vs a turbo stroker 2.0

dat torque!

I want to build one so bad.

and on an even more of a side note, has anyone seen the Exocet?
Its a space frame that mates with a miata drive train AND has the room for the V8 swap.
800 Lbs lighter than a stock NA miata I believe

That's what I was thinking. They originally were going to use linear actuators but they were way to slow and fairly expensive.
Its a sick mod for a track car, especially a miata since you really just recycling parts.

It would be cool to see a test showing if it actually works as intended. And yes that appears to be a stock ls3.it definitely has the stock intake judging by where the power falls off.

I would imagine it works fairly well. The air brake on the Veyron has a LOT of force and it is way smaller. Idk how well it would hold up at higher speeds though.
I think it takes .6 seconds for the brake to actuate from what I read.

If it is that effective I wonder what it does to balance under braking. It would be like slowly dropping a vending machine into your trunk as you brake into a corner.
