A couple weekends from now?
I went a couple times back when it was at AMS (2006/2007 ish I guess) and it was pretty awesome.
I didnt know they were back to doing shows.
It looks like a nice setup though. Drift, supercar showdown, dyno contests, hydro stuff, and of course the bikini contest ($3k prize!).
Its at Atlanta Dragway on the 21st and 22nd. Ill almost definitely go one day, maybe both if I can find someone else to go with.

Theres also a 1/2 mile shootout at a runway up here in the mountains next weekend. That should be cool too. Limited to 125 cars per day but from the pics I saw its all high end stuff.

Go to the wannaGOFAST event if you have to pick one. Those are real street cars. Nopi is all flash. There are a lot of guys from forums I frequent turning out at the 1/2 mile. Several fast local cars too.

The 1/2 mile is this weekend, nopi is next. Hopefully I can check out both but my family is coming up this weekend so if I do go it wont be both days.
The last tine I was at Nopi Nationals I thought it was awesome. Way more than just a bunch or ricers like I had thought it might be.
Lots of high end cars, dyno queens, drift cars, pure show, etc. Obviously way different than a straight drag challenge but still lots of fun. Hopefully it compares to the old days.
