Should the tire rotate forwards or backwards when positioned as shown? Not familiar with this sort of tread. There doesn't seem to be a symbol indicating the right direction anywhere on the tire

I'm not a bike expert, but since it looks like the rear tire, I would think backwards from this angle.



in other words, it looks like it is mounted correctly as is.

look on the side of the tire. there is sometimes an arrow or the tire company logo forms the shape of an arrow. the arrow points in the direction the tire should turn.

If its directional, it should have a direction arrow on the sidewall.

the way it is mounted in the pic will promote less friction witch would be perfect way to mount the front tire, the rear should be mounted the other way around to promote grip, but liek everyone said chec for directional arrows they might only be on 1 side of the tire
