So the time to mod out my Lincoln has arrived. Heres the plan.

Super charger, was thinking a kit from the terminator
New heads
long tubes
dual exhaust 2.5 inch
obviously some new rubbers, likely on a set of torque thrust 2s
possibly hacking into the suspension to adjust the air ride?

Blah blah regular performance mods etc. Car is a 2000 Lincoln town car,

So I have a few questions. How much of this is actually feasible? How different are the 4.6 blocks in the town car vs the mustangs? can you mod the air ride? Is it worth it? Recommended exhaust setup? Anybody know of any long tubes that would bolt up? How can I get around the after cat o2 sensors after eliminating the cats?Any other project input?

its the same chassis as the crown vic so i dont see why you maybe couldnt get crown vic parts to help it. as much as it weighs i wouldnt really worry about trying to make big power its still going to be a slow car.

i know the expedition had a computer controlled air ride have you tried googling about ways to mod your air ride setup?

if you can i would buy posi race ported over steggi tho. posi is no longer in buisness but only because it was ran out of his garage and he wanted more time with kids. nothing wrong with steggie but posi holds up a little better and lasts longer

Yeah I can get crown vic parts to fit it. People also sometimes to cobra motor swaps as well. The car weights 4100 lbs in change, so it isn't that heavy compared to a lot of cars in it's class. Pretty comparable to the chargers etc. But you also get a full frame muscle car, which is fairly rare in newer cars, and basically a mustang drive train. No, it's not going to be a 10 second car but you might actually be surprised at what you could do with the right setup. And I will look into the expedition suspension.

out of curiousity, is there a specific reason why you want to mod it?

Probably the same reason 99% of people mod unusual/less typical cars.

Cuz can

Edit-- but it is nice to build something once in a while that isnt a bolt together build. aka foxbody mustang.
