im looking to buy a new car, and I want to educate myself on diesel gas vs regular gas hybrid vs regular make/models
basically I want a economic//wont depreciate kind of car.

Your not going to find a new car that isn't going to depreciate rapidly coming off the lot. If you're just looking for an a to b kind of car you have aton of options, it really all comes down to personal preference. If you want anyone here to seriously help you you have to provide more information on what you're looking for.

For this I say diesel Cruze. More mpg too. I think it is listed at 48mpg to the jetta's 42mpg hwy.
