I am positive that the rotors and pads are almost brand new

This is a 1998 Ford Explorer

The location of the leak is not in the reservoir, but I don't see any splotches underneath my car. I keep the car off, pump the brake, and look for the leak... All I see is fluid missing

I filled the fluid to the max line, but after pumping the brakes for a good while the fluid went down but did not empty, there is well over half the fluid left in the reservoir. The brake light is still on

this needs to be done in the next couple days, if I had time to have a mechanic show me how to do it then I would. I have a couple buddies who know how to do it but they're too busy this week to come over and guide me through this.

Its not a hard job. Probably a 2/10, 10 being the hardest.

take a picture of everything WHILE its together. so you have some thing to look back on when connecting linkages and springs
