does anyone know how long do they last between charges?
what specs should i look at that make the quality vary and what differences would they have?

do they lose a lot of power everyone you use it to boost your car?

Im a little confused about what exactly your asking.

How long will a portable booster pack last inbetween uses? That completly depends on the application. But im gunna go ahead as say 1 use, than recharge. Why would you try and leave youself hanging the next time you want to use it?
And a general rule of thumb. You get what you pay for..

/ lets say you got a quad with a bunk battery that wont hold a charge, you can probably get 10-15 uses easily out of a half decent pack.
But if your trying to aid a 6.5 diesel in the dead lf winter, you'll get one use if your lucky.

every one i have ever used had gauges on it so you knew how much charge it had left.

higher quality ones will have better everything pretty much.

what if you don't use it? how long will it last before the power slowly drains and you have to recharge it?

i guess that's a better way to phrase it hopefully?

like you buy it for in case of emergencies right? but you never know when that emergency will be so you leave it in your trunk. How long can I leave it in my trunk before I would have to recharge it?

I'm trying weigh it out to see whether or not buying the battery booster is worth it or just buy jumper cables. It would be a hassle if I have to recharge the battery booster every couple of weeks, but if it last a couple of months then it's more worth it

it varies.

just keep an eye on it since it takes like 3 secs to check the gauge.

that being said the cheaper/lower output model you get the faster it will run out of power due to cheap/small battery.

I'd probably just buy a new battery and get someone to use jumper cables to give it a nice little charge.

This

But I'm also confused. Are you wanting to not replace current battery in your car or are you just trying to use it until its absolutely gone? Or...?

Ill put it this way :

Is it worth jt to spend $100-150 on a booster pack ,And carry it in your car/truck for emergencies?

No

Booster cables.

Yes

People will stop... Open your hood and trunk. Someone will stop.

BUT . My dad had a sweet ass pack he carried with him cuz he did alot of highway driving. It was : a booster pack, air conpressor, radio, flash light, and had some plug ina/usb ports. But like i said, he was on the highway alot... Which makes it suitable to carry it.

Well the booster packs i see ranges from 50+
The booster cables are like $10

When i leave my car on for a while but not ignition turned on, due to radio and whatnot the battery dies every so often.
I do have that blue/white corrosion on my battery which i'll have to clean off.

Does my battery need to be changed or should i keep it until it dies? It is kind of old. Will a new battery not die if left on? (or take a really long time to die having the car left on)

Sometimes i'll be in places where there are not a lot of cars nearby

deep cycle marine battery is your friend. every time you completely discharge a normal battery it will never be as good as it once was and eventually not hold charge at all anymore.

and don't cheap out on cables either. you want plenty of wire in them and not just thin wire and a bunch of rubber otherwise the entire process becomes bothersome.
