I agree entirely. I don't see a point in spending the money to upgrade a car when you could have just put that money towards the much better performing car in the first place. Those V6s actually do see gains though surprisingly. Afew have cracked 12s with bolt ons. Then again, for the money they spent they could have ran high 12s all day with a stock 5.0.

The insurance difference between a v6 and v8 mustang is negligible. In the end you're left spending more on a slower less reliable car, as it wasn't meant for that much power. Procharging a v6 mustang is the definition of stupidity to me.
